APC to sell Schnieder’s solutions

 By K R Nambiar

APC India is planning to launch a range of products and solutions from Schnieder and its group companies in order to boost its data center solutions offerings.
“There has been a lot of innovation in the data center market in the past few months. The onus of setting up a data center has moved from the facilities department to the IT department, and data centers are now completely part of the core IT function. It is therefore imperative that IT systems integrators offer a complete solution to their customers. To address the opportunity we are bringing together technologies from different Schnieder companies, and APC and its partners will sell them as solutions,” explained David Blumanis, Data Center Advisor with APC.
APC has already equipped select partners to sell various offerings from Schnieder including Clipsal, SquareD, Citect and TAC. “We have already enabled 12 partners who have been given the option to sell products from other Schnieder companies. We will be enabling more partners in the coming days,” informed Sridhar Laxman, Marketing Director, APC India.
While Clipsal’s data cabling, electrical accessories and switchgear are being positioned for the electrical infrastructure of a data center, software from Citect can be used to automate data centers. SquareD products help control and distribute electric power within the data center.
