Buffalo Launches Drive Station CX


 CRN Network, September 2, 2009, 1300 hrs

Buffalo has expanded its storage and backup portfolio by launching Drive Station CX series which boasts of full-disk encryption for data security. The series has four models available in capacities of 500GB (CX500U2), 1TB (CX1.0TU2), 1.5TB (CX1.5TU2) and 2TB (CX2.0TU2).

 

“The new portfolio is ideal for users who want a secure, high-speed storage and backup solution. The full-disk encryption protects important personal, financial, and business data from unauthorized access,” said Susumu Kobayashi, Country Manager, Buffalo India.

 

Other features include SecureLockManager Easy for password security, TurboUSB connectivity and backup software Memeo AutoBackup that works with both Windows and Macintosh.

 

Backed with a 3-year warranty, the 500GB device is available at an MRP of Rs 9,000; 1TB at Rs 13, 000; 1.5TB at Rs 21,000; and the 2TB model at Rs 40,000.
