Kobian Introduces Tango and Zoom 10

 CRN Network, February 09, 2010, 1130 hrs

Kobian has introduced two webcams—Mercury ViewCam Tango and ViewCam Zoom 10. Both models support 10-megapixel resolution and deliver 30fps (frames per second) digital video streams.

Based on CMOS technology, the webcams feature real optics and autofocus features. They include 5-layer glass lens and night vision LEDs.

The webcams work with popular video messaging applications including Skype, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger and QQ. They include built-in microphone, online snapshot button, and face tracking software.

"Our newest performance ViewCams provide an exceptional video-calling experience", said Sushmita Das, Country Manager, India, Kobian. “These models support USB 2.0 and UVC thus making them driverless plug-n-play devices. We have tried to add color and our models now come in the bright Tangerine color. We shall be launching ViewCam Aqua, in a cool blue color very soon.”

Both webcams will be available with authorized distributors from March, 2010.
