 CRN Network, December 16, 2011, 1030hrs

Smartlink Network launched three new motherboard models namely DL-425IX3-FC, DL-H61S and DL-H67S specially designed for All-In-One PC segment under its motherboard brand Digilite.

All-in-one computers are desktop computers that combine the CPU and speaker into the same case as the monitor. DL-H61S and DL-425IX3-FC comes with Intel Sandybridge processors; CPU and Intel Atom Single-core D425 processor mounted onboard respectively.  DL-H61S supports Intel H61 chipset  with dual channel DDR3 1333/1066 x 2 DIMMs, maximum 8 GB  memory and 1 PCI22.0 x 16 expansion slot while DL-425IX3-FC supports Intel NM10 chipset with DDR3 800MHz x DIMM, maximum 4 GB memory and 1 PCI expansion slot. Both the models DL-H61S and DL-H67S support Gigabit Lan and 2 SATA II.

DL-H67S comes with Intel Sandybridge processors, LGA1155 socket, Intel H67 chipset, dual channel DDR3 1333/1066 x 2 DIMMs, maximum 8 GB memory, 18PCIe2.0 x 16 expansion slots supports 2 SATA III, 1 SATA II, 1 ESATA and Gigabit Lan. DL-H67S is suitable for Home Theatre PC with HDMI.

The company sees a total available opportunity of 400,000 units per year for motherboards out of which Digilite would expect to achieve a market share of 20 percent by FY2012-13.

“All-In-One PC segment is an emerging new opportunity for the assembler segment, with various stakeholders like Intel and AMD promoting respective products lines. Digilite is leveraging its supply chain to announce products and meet the demand as a ‘first mover’ in channel with fair volume availability,” said Rajan Sharma, VP, Sales, Digilite.

Since Intel has been promoting this opportunity and as Digilite works closely with their local team it decided to go aggressive in this segment with the current products and with new 2nd Generation processor products.

“All-In-One computers are definitely the next big thing in the market and Digilite will make a mark in this segment with the help of its new motherboard models,” added Sharma.

The features of the motherboards include mini-ITX SFF, can be integrated in the visual display unit, have lowest power consumption and comes with 8-channel audio, HDMI, dual display, eSATA etc.

The entry level price of the Atom and H61 series starts from Rs 3000, while H67 series starts from Rs 3500 excluding taxes. The product is available with a 3-year carry-in warranty.

For post-sales service the company has Digicare—its post-sales service provider with 64 direct RMA locations across India and pick up from any locations.
