Delta to Launch DC Cooling Products in 2010

 By Tabrez Khan

Delta India plans to launch data center cooling products in the first quarter of 2010. Currently, the company’s Indian products portfolio comprises power supplies, UPS and visual display products.

The company recently launched its NH+ range of UPS, which it claims offers higher availability at lower cost, besides being more efficient in conserving energy and reducing waste. Delta also roped in Global Infonet as the national distributor for its entire portfolio of products.

Deepak Sharma, Country Business Manager, UPS, Delta India, said, “We are planning to increase the number of tier-1 partners from the current 35 to 100 by the end of 2010. To expand our reach, we are ramping up our channel network significantly.”

On the go-to-market strategy for data center cooling products, Sharma said Delta would be looking at VARs and SI partners with significant experience in delivering data center design and layout. The ideal partners would be those who have implemented turnkey jobs, and can complement Delta’s products with their services.
