 CRN Network, Aug 1 2008, 1430 hrs

US-based mail server solutions and internet security vendor, Kerio Technologies has appointed Mumbai-based Teqdis as national distributor for its products, MailServer and WinRoute Firewall. The WinRoute Firewall is an integrated security software suite for Windows, offering VPN server, bandwidth limiter, anti-virus and web content filter. The MailServer is a cross-platform email and collaboration solution for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X with advanced anti-spam, and built-in dual anti-virus.

The company’s existing team of national distributors includes Mumbai ‘s RoundRobin Tech Services and Satcom Infotech, and Delhi’s Eximprise Technologies. Some of the solution providers selling Kerio products include Uniware Systems, Team Computers, Essen Vision and Sapphire Infosystems.

“Our focus will be to develop and expand Keiro’s market in large businesses across all verticals. The Indian business community needs a reliable yet affordable alternative to Microsoft Exchange. We are convinced that Kerio MailServer will provide all the functionality that our customers are looking for,” said Jay Savoor, Managing Director, Teqdis.

Kerio runs two certifications programs-Certified Reseller and Preferred Partner. Initially, it will focus on training its resellers and will introduce tools from Kerio’s Partner Program to its reseller network.
