Targus India has appointed Rashi Peripherals as the national distributor (ND) for its entire range of products. The accessories vendor plans to develop the channels in India through Rashi’s 53 branches, especially in class B and C cities.
“In India, retail is becoming more organized and interested in providing a total solution to the consumer. There is huge growth in notebook usage and consumers are becoming more interested in quality backpacks and accessories,” informs Deepak Jagtiani, Country Head, Targus India. “By appointing Rashi our ND, Targus now aims to expand in the Indian market.”
Targus also plans to focus on global product development programs, which will include research on Indian consumers to provide relevant products at competitive prices and enhanced customer experience. Further down the line, Targus also plans to add additional attributes such as personalization, on-trend design and sophistication to its product offering.
