Logitech Appoints Prasenjit Sarkar As Regional Director For SA


 CRN Network, March 10, 2010, 1130 hrs

Logitech appoints Prasenjit Sarkar as the Regional Director for South Asia. Moninder Jain, who earlier held the role, has now been promoted to focus on the North Asia market to replicate the success achieved in South Asia.

 

In his new role, Sarkar, based in Singapore, will lead Logitech’s channel businesses in India, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal

 

Sarkar previously worked with Dell, where he was the Director, South Asia Emerging Markets and Director, SMB, since 2008. Before that, at HP, he held several positions in sales, marketing, and business development in India, Malaysia and Singapore during his 13 year stint there.

 

He is a post graduate from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and a Bachelor of Technology, Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay

 

Subrotah Biswas, Country Manager, would continue to lead Logitech's growth strategies in India and South West Asia and report to Sarkar.
