Aten, Cubix Organize Partner Training Program In Pune

 CRN Network, August 30, 2010, 1100 hrs

Keyboard, video and mouse switch maker Aten International and its authorized distributor in India, Cubix Micro Systems, held an annual training program in Pune on August 5 and 6, 2010.

The training focused on orienting participants on Aten’s new products such as KVM over the net, control center over the net and power distribution unit. Case studies and success stories were shared and the recently launched VanCryst professional audio video solutions were discussed in detail.

A KVM (keyboard, video and mouse) switch is hardware based solution to allow centralized access to multiple computers from a single keyboard, monitor and mouse. It allows server rooms and data centers to optimize energy consumption, floor space as well as reduce costs and clutter.

KVM solutions now have remote management capability for corporations with multiple server rooms. “The KVM industry is expected to reach $1 billion by 2012, according to industry reports. Apart from the KVM market, our foray into video is another opportunity for partners to make profit margins,” said Jerry Liu, Associate VP, Aten International.

“After China, India is the largest revenue generator for us from Asia-Pacific region. Aten plans to further expand the channel base and market share through partner training programs, multi-city road shows and channel events in the latter half of the year,” said Liu.
