Ivalue Infosolutions has launched branded value-added services in the security, storage and compliance space targeted at resellers looking at migrating to solutions selling. The distributor is planning to offer an assortment of over 30 different services and solutions that it believes will increase the bottom line of partners. “In challenging times, partners have to look beyond their traditional revenues to sustain growth. The storage and security services market in India is worth $1 billion, and offers the right opportunity for partners who have already built relations with customers,” said S Sriram, the CEO of Ivalue. The company’s new set of offerings are broadly divided into consulting and compliance, solutions reviews, infrastructure deployment, storage and security solutions deployment. To address the opportunities, Ivalue has forged relationships with 13 technology vendors and hopes to cater to more than 4,000 customers through 400 partners. “All solutions will be billed through our partners,” said Sriram. “We will work behind the scenes and support them at every stage of the sale. We would prefer partners to provide the first level of support, thus increasing their revenue share.” According to Sriram, for lack of skill-sets, partners are losing potential revenue in the security and storage, which range from 15 to 30 percent depending on the complexity and criticality of the solution.” Ivalue is counting on its technical team to provide the services. In addition, the company has forged relations with several specialized service providers. |
