“I hate being late for meetings”

Neeraj Singh, Head, Commercial Channel Operations for Dell India, is deeply interested in contributing to the economic welfare of the country. A former channel manager at HP, Singh currently wants to apply his experience to boost Dell’s reputation as the preferred brand among partners.

If not in the IT industry: I would have loved to teach.

Biggest passion: To see every partner mention Dell as their most preferred brand.

Behind the wheels: Currently, I drive a Honda City and I would love to own a Lamborghini some day.

Gadgets I can’t live without: I am not really a gadget freak, but of late it has become impossible to live without my mobile.

Role model: NR Narayana Murthy. He gave millions of Indians the confidence to be the best in the world. I love his quote, “In God we trust, everyone else bring data to the table.”

Weekends are for: Family. With two hyperactive kids around, sometimes weekends can be as hectic as weekdays.

Favorite holiday destination: I love mountains, so I find Uttaranchal perfect for a quiet holiday.

Hate the most: When people do not respect others’ time. I hate being late for meetings.

Ultimate ambition: I would like to be able to contribute to the society, beyond the corporate world, in some way.

Thing I most want to do in life: Contribute significantly to work I am involved in and make a difference.

Favorite sport and sportsperson: Cricket. Favorite sportsperson has to be Sachin Tendulkar.

If I became India’s Prime Minister: I will do everything possible to ensure that we are the fastest growing economy in the world, for the next 20 years.

Celebrity I would like to spend a day with: Aamir Khan. His quest for perfection, complete trust in his instincts and risk taking abilities make him unique.

Deepest and darkest fear: Fear of losing loved ones.
