Netmagic Wants Partners for Cloud Services

 By Priyanka Chowdhury

Netmagic Solutions is looking to appoint partners across India for its cloud computing services.
“With our cloud computing services, we will be able to provide our customers an additional value offering that will optimize needs and maximize the operation of their IT infrastructure. Though we will be deploying the services through our existing partners, we are still looking at signing on more partners across India who will be a blend of systems integrators, ISVs and resellers,” said Sharad Sanghi, the CEO and MD of Netmagic.
Initially, the company will focus on the western region and then move on to other regions of the country. It is planning to rope in ISVs for its cloud computing services.
“We will be looking at roping in resellers as they will be our extended feet on the streets. After expanding across India, we intend to go global,” added Sanghi. The company already has alliances with solutions providers such as Orient Technologies, S K International and Persistent Systems.
The company will also provide training to its partners. It will focus on orienting the partners on the basics of cloud computing and provide them tips on selling or pitching to the customer.
As part of the cloud computing services portfolio, the company will offer three services: CloudNet, CloudServe and PrivateCloud. The move is designed to address the key challenges of IT departments, allowing them to maintain availability of applications without having to double the amount of capital expenditure in hardware and software. The solutions provider is expecting large-scale adoption from BSFIs and Internet-based companies.
