Qnap’s mid-range NAS

Qnap Systems refreshed its mid-range NAS lineup with new 2 and 4-drive models—TS-239 Pro II+ and TS-439 Pro II+. The NAS range sports Intel’s D425 Atom CPU and 1GB RAM, and provides storage of up to 8TB.

The products are compatible with VMware, Citrix and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization platforms, and are ideal for file sharing, backup and advanced server applications in the office environment. The range supports 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch hard drives housed in lockable, hot-swappable drive carriers, with advanced RAID configurations.

The NAS boxes are shipped with QNAP NAS management software, and their capabilities can be expanded with exclusive QPKG open source add-ons.

Available through authorized distributors, TS-239 Pro II+ and TS-439 Pro II+ are priced at Rs. 39,000 and Rs. 50,000 respectively, exclusive of taxes.
