Nasscom Foundation Announces Independence Day Offer For NGOs

 CRN Network, August 4, 2010, 1200 hrs

Through its program BiGTech, Nasscom Foundation (NF) has announced a special offer for NGOs and NPOs to celebrate this Independence Day. The social development arm of Nasscom, in support with its donor partner Eagle Conferencing, is offering national and international audio conferencing facility for Rs 1,999 per annum. In addition to a drastic cut in the subscription fee, the audio conferencing between India and UK will be charged at a local rate. The offer is available up to August 31, 2010.

NGOs will get instant access to an audio conference call, without making a reservation or involving an operator. A dedicated virtual conference room is open 24/7.

Prashant Pandit, Manager BiGTech, Nasscom Foundation, said, "There is no requirement for any kind of special equipment, so one can join the conference from either a land line or a mobile connection. This feature makes it appealing to NGO's and can help them communicate better with their teams wherever they are in India. We hope NGOs take advantage of this and truly gain independence from unnecessary travel and inconvenient co-ordination."
