Sify Launches Mylife, Consumer Cloud Services Platform

 CRN Network, July 06, 2010, 1100 hrs

Sify Technologies has announced a consumer Cloud services platform, branded Sify mylife. It will enable consumers to access services including communication, education, travel, entertainment and utility, with enhanced cyber security.

Application developers can build and host solutions on the platform, and advertisers can talk to people who access the net, either at cafes, at home or on mobile internet devices like smart phones via Sify mylife.

Sify mylife strengthens cyber security and interactivity at cybercafes so consumers can get several digital lifestyle offerings from one window including ticket bookings, mobile recharge, online tests, bill payments, ISD calls, gaming, etc. It also enables consumers to pay cash for online transactions, so the fear of online payments or credit card requirements is removed.

Speaking at the launch, Raju Vegesna, Chairman and Managing Director, Sify Technologies, said, “Having completed a phase of restructuring and consolidation, Sify is now all set to unveil its new Consumer business strategy. Sify owns and operates some of India’s largest and most advanced Data Centres and is a recognized leader in Enterprise Cloud services. It is this knowledge and expertise that we are bringing to the common man. Sify mylife is a platform that will offer multiple services to our end consumers through our rich eco-system of cybercafes, advertisers and partners.”
