Sukumaran Pallikara, General Manager, Targus India, has been successfully running the organization for the last six years. With over 12 years of experience in the IT industry, Pallikara set up Targus in the country in 2002. His aim is to make India a hub for the entire range of Targus accessories for South Asia.
If not in the IT industry: I would have been in the Indian Army.
Biggest passion: Technology and innovation. I want to build a seaside bungalow similar to that of Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat.
Behind the wheels: I currently drive a Toyota Innova, but my dream is to own a BMW 7 series.
Gadgets I can’t do without: My Lenovo Thinkpad notebook and my Nokia E71 cell phone.
Role model: Amitabh Bachchan. Even though he has reached great heights, he still has enthusiasm for work, a sensibility for surroundings, and always strives to excel further in whatever he is doing. A complete man in all respects.
Weekend activities: Going out on long drives to the countryside and exploring new places. I also like playing cricket on weekends with my friends.
Favorite holiday destination: Lankawi Malaysia for its beautiful crystal-clear water and its scenic landscapes.
Hate the most: Dishonesty.
Favorite movie: Taare Zameen Par. The film appealed to the child within me. I was also touched by its powerful narration.
Favorite stars: Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan from Bollywood. I like Pierce Brosnan and George Clooney for their sheer persona.
Ultimate ambition: To be a multi-billionaire. To help the poor not through charity but by helping them to find ways to improve their lives. |
