“I want to take iValue public”

Co-founder and CEO of iValue InfoSolutions, Sunil Pillai has over 18 years of experience in the Indian IT industry. Prior to iValue InfoSolutions, he worked at Select Technologies.

If not in the IT industry: I would have been in the film industry.

Biggest passion: I would love to list my company at stock exchanges across the world and continuously create value.

Behind the wheels: I don’t attach too much importance to make, model and size. To me, vehicle is just a mode of transport.

Gadgets I can’t live without: My cell phone and laptop.

Role model: Warren Buffet.

Weekends are for: Spending quality time with family, and rejuvenating for the week ahead.

Favorite holiday destination: Goa, for fun and frolic in sun and sand.

Hate the most: Indifference. I hate the “I, me and myself” attitude.

Ultimate ambition: Leaving a legacy behind.

Wildest thing I’ve ever done: Starting an organization with 43 people and no projects on hand.

Thing I most want to do in life: Start a school for the under-privileged.

Favorite sport and sportsperson: Cricket and Sachin Tendulkar.

If I became the Prime Minister: I would eradicate the word politics and run the country’s operations like a large enterprise.

Celebrity I’d like to spend a day with: Ratan Tata. I am inspired by his integrity, high principles and work ethics.

Deepest and darkest fear: Something wrong which might happen to my family.
