Xell appointed ESET’s RD for South


 CRN Network

ESS Software Distribution and Consulting, the exclusive distributor of ESET products, has appointed Xell Networks as its retail Platinum Partner for South.

Initially, Xell will offer ESET NOD32 Antivirus Home Edition and Internet suite and ESET Smart Security Home Edition in 1-user and 3-user retail packs.

ESS will soon launch the business edition retail packs for up to 25 users in the Indian market. It also plans to explore the mobile security market in the country by launching ESET Mobile Antivirus retail pack, which is compatible with Windows as well as Symbian-platform smartphones, in the near future. Xell will distribute both these ranges as well.

“We have experienced a significant growth in the demand for ESET retails packs from South, and hence we have appointed Xell Networks as one of our retail Platinum Partner. Xell enjoys good regional presence and has a strong technical team to support our partners and customers,” said Amit Misra, Country Head, ESS Software Distribution and Consulting.

ESS, along with Xell, plans to conduct pre-sales workshop and technical certification programs for channel partners. These workshops would focus on ESET’s home as well as business edition products portfolio for the SMB and enterprise segment. After successful completion of the workshop, the partner will receive ESET certification. Members will have an access to product documentation, product updates and news through online partner portal.

ESET NOD32 Antivirus 3-users license is available at an MRP of Rs 1,199, while Smart Security 3-user pack has an MRP tag of Rs 1,399. The 1-user Smart Security retail pack is available at Rs 699.

ESS has also launched a toll-free technical support for users and partners.
