“I like to test my abilities”
 Anand Vardhan, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Compuage comes with an experience of 17 years. He started his IT career with Compuage and has worked with organizations like Aptech and Zee. Prior to his latest assignment, Vardhan was Country Manager for APC Home and SMB Business.
If not in the IT industry: I would have been in the army. I have always been fascinated by the defence forces.
Biggest passion: Work. I like to test my abilities and analyse my performance.
Behind the wheels: I currently drive Hyundai i10 but I dream to own a Merc.
Gadgets I can’t do without: My mobile phone, notebook and especially my home theatre since I am movie buff.
Role Model: Rajiv Gandhi. He was one of the most dedicated and clean politicians; emergence of IT in the country can be attributed to him.
Weekend activities: Weekends are exclusively reserved for the family. That’s when I like to take them out for dinner or lunch.
Favorite holiday destination: Goa. I love sea food and Goa is the ideal place to savor amazing sea food.
Hate the most: Lies.
Favorite Movie: Iqbal. I have seen the movie many times and every time I see this movie, it inspires me all the more. I love watching movies starring Amitabh and also movies with a message.
Favorite stars: Amitabh Bachchan. We have grown up watching his movies, he is an icon and no one can replace him. Among actresses, I like Rani Mukherjee for her amazing acting skills.
Ultimate ambition: I see myself as a sales and management consultant, 20 years from now.
