 “I love being with nature”

Anil Gupta, Head, National Sales, MicroWorld, has been associated with the company since it began in 1993. Prior to joining MicroWorld, Gupta worked with Ramakem and Blown Containers

If not in the IT industry: I would have been in the business of generating non-conventional energy, or in the handicraft industry.

Biggest passion: To excel in providing the best pre- and post-sales support to my channel partners, and to strive for the growth of our channel partners.

Behind the wheels: I drive a Maruti Zen. My dream car is a Ford Grand Master.

Role model: Our MD and CEO, Mr Govind Rammurthy. His dedication to work and down-to-earth attitude impresses me.

Weekends are for: Spending time with my family. We go on long drives or outings.

Favorite holiday destination: Khandala. I love being with nature, especially in the monsoons.

Hate the most: Lies.

Ultimate ambition: To be able to do my bit for the old and the needy.

Wildest thing ever done: Wheeling on the bike. During my college days I used to try stunts on my bike and ride it at 45 degrees.

Thing I most want to do in life: Go to Antarctica.

Favorite sport and sportsperson: Hockey. Dhyan Chand.

If I became the Prime Minister: I would like to make education free for all. There would be no donations, especially for engineering, medical and management schools.

Celebrity I’d like to spend a day with: Madhuri Dixit. She has modern charm coupled with traditional loveliness. Her resemblance to Madhubala makes her an eternal beauty.

Deepest and darkest fear: To be left all alone in the world. I like to be surrounded by people so that I can communicate with someone.
