IBC opens fourth store in Orissa

Retailer IBC Systems has expanded its chain of stores with the launch of its fourth outlet in Paralakehemundi, Orissa. Inaugurated on June 12, 2009, the 600 sq ft multi-brand store will stock a wide variety of products.
IBC Systems already has three multi-brand stores in Behrampur, Orissa.

 

HP conducts 11-city channel meet

Hewlett-Packard conducted channel meets across 11 cities to demonstrate its newly-launched series of OfficeJet AIOs including the OfficeJet Pro 8500 and OfficeJet 6500.
The meets were held across Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune, Lucknow and Chandigarh.
Over 1,000 people from 767 partner organizations participated in these meets.

 

Trend Micro begins Sellibrity Tour

Trend Micro has embarked on its ‘Sellibrity Tour,’ a road show in 25 tier-2 cities. Through this show the security vendor will help partners understand how to identify new business opportunities for its newly-launched product range that includes the WorryFree Business Security Suite 6.0 and a consumer product, PC-cillin.
Trend Micro will also announce various schemes and promotional activities to help its partners earn higher rewards. It expects around 50 partners to attend the show in each city.
During the tour, the company will share its strategy for both the consumer and SMB segment. In the first phase of the road show, the company has already covered Chandigarh and Ludhiana.

 

Abacus conducts partner meet with Sparkle and Nvidia

Abacus Peripherals, in collaboration with Nvidia, recently conducted a partner meet at The Regency Hotel in Pune. The event, attended by 75 partners, mainly focused on the launch of Sparkle Nvidia graphic cards and the new range of Zion memory modules.
Taher Kagzi, Country Manager, Nvidia, spoke about the features of Sparkle and highlighted the opportunities available to partners for providing graphics and gaming solutions.
Subhashis Das, Vice President, Business Development, Abacus, spoke to the partners about the distributor’s plans and strategies.
