AOC celebrates 4 years in India
AOC celebrated the fourth anniversary of its Indian subsidiary with a dealer meet in Kochi, which was attended by more than 130 leading partners. At the meet, AOC announced the plan to launch its LCD TV brand called Muvic. The vendor also rolled out a series of channel and consumer schemes marking the beginning of the festive season. While speaking at the meet, Saurabh Grover, DGM, Sales and Marketing, AOC India, said, “As per IDC India’s Q1 2009 report, AOC had 19 percent market share which increased to 21 percent in Q2. Our aim is to further consolidate our market position to reach the second spot by the end of 2009.”
Cyberoam conducts meet on network security
Cyberoam recently organized an end customer meet on network security at Nagpur, Maharashtra. Held with an aim to create awareness about the current threat scenario faced by SMBs, this security road show saw 110 attendees from education and SMB verticals. Representatives from some of the well-known organizations like Petroleum and Explosive Safety Organisation, IIT Nagpur, National Environmental Engineering Research Institute, Maharastra State Electricity Board and Abhijeet Group attended the event. “We see great potential in the SMB segment. They are increasingly deploying unified gateway security, while simultaneously moving away from their complete dependence on desktop security,” said Shalin Patel, Head, Enterprise Sales, Cyberoam.
Genius organizes multi-city channel meet
Genius has embarked on a multi-city campaign targeting the channel community. The company has already conducted road shows in Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai. Around 150 partners attended the event at each of these locations. The next series of meets will be conducted in New Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkatta. During the meets, the vendor shared its future products roadmap and channel strategy. Genius also showcased its latest range of products including digicams, digital camcorders, mouse and tablet PCs.
