MicroStrategy, Sybase join hands

Business intelligence (BI) vendor MicroStrategy and Sybase organised a road show to jointly promote their prod ucts and solutions in cities like Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai and Ahmedabad.
By combining their core expertise in BI, data integration and data warehouse technologies, the two vendors aim to help customers efficiently manage their data and rapidly gain insights into business performance.

 

eScan launches road show

eScan has flagged off a 32-city road show from July 16, 2009, to reach out to partners and resellers all over India. 
During this two-month long program, the company is planning to meet all its partners in tier-2 and tier-3 cities to understand and address their concerns and to add new partners to its network.
These road shows also provide demonstrations about the existing security issues and how eScan is the best fit for the current security scenario. Partners and resellers can avail of special offers on spot purchases of eScan products.

 

HP urges partners to ‘Get More’

Hewlett Packard recently concluded its multi-city partner meet to showcase its new line of Laserjet multi-function printers. The meets were held in Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Vizag.

The vendor announced incentives and gave away awards to performing partners. HP also announced the name of a lucky draw winner who won a free trip to Switzerland.

 

Astric opens CoE in Patna

Patna-based Astric Computer has opened a Center of Excellence (CoE) to provide IT training and other vocational courses to government employees, women and under-privileged individuals.
Built on the model of public-private partnership, the CoE is supported by the Bihar State Electronic Development Corporation Ltd and Bihar IT Department. The center, spanning over 5,000-sq ft, is equipped with computer infrastructure and is fully Wi-Fi enabled.
Companies like Cradle Technologies, D-Link, Tally India and LG have already extended their support to the CoE and Microsoft is expected to follow suit.
