EMC appoints director for west


 CRN Network

EMC has appointed Balakrishnan Anantharaman as the Enterprise Business Director for Western Region. In this role, Anantharaman will be responsible for spearheading the company’s enterprise business strategy and growing business in the region.
Announcing the appointment, Rajesh Janey, Vice President, Enterprise Business, EMC India, said, “The contribution of Western India to our overall business success has been significant and I am confident that Anantharaman’s track record in India’s IT industry will help sharpen our focus in the region.”
Anantharaman comes to EMC with more than 16 years of experience in the IT industry. Prior to joining EMC, he was the Country Manager for Blue Coat Systems. He has also served in the roles of Regional Director for South Asia for Packeteer Asia and was a part of the manageability services practice at Sun Microsystems and IBM Global Services.
