Embedded card readers from Apacer

Apacer has launched the all-in-one card readers, AE700 and AE701, that can be embedded with the desktop and are convenient to users who use more than one card type.
While, the AE700 card reader is smaller in size and can be used in smaller PC chassis, the AE701 can fit into any standard mid-tower chassis. Both card readers have six slots and an external USB 2.0 port. They support most of the flash card formats, including SDHC and MMX 4.x.
The card readers have two panel colors—black and silver—and come with an LED indicator.
Metal-encased, the readers are designed with both clip and traditional screw mounting to provide system builders and DIY users more options. They are hot-swappable with various OS like Windows 2000/ME/XP/Vista, Mac OS X 10.3 or higher, and Windows 98/98SE .
Available with authorized distributors, AE700 and AE701 are both priced at Rs 499.
