The company has introduced a range of UPS products including the Liebert Iton-600 BX, Emerson Adapt series modular UPS 6KVA, In-Pulse inverters 30KVA, and OptimizeIT.
The revamped product portfolio is aimed at providing additional features to its SMB customers as well as reducing their energy consumption. Emerson will work with its network of channel partners to create awareness about the new range of products.
Ankesh Kumar, Senior Manager, Micro and Small UPS, and Marcom Head, Emerson, explained, “Our primary focus for 2010 is on energy-efficient solutions for next-generation infrastructure needs. We are happy to be leaders in the space, and will strive to maintain our position by giving customers increased control of their power infrastructure.”
According to Mandeep Gupta, Country Manager, Channel Business, Emerson, the company will target tier-1 and tier-2 markets for these products. “The new range has been designed keeping in mind the current requirements of customers. Our channel ecosystem will play a pivotal role in this initiative. We have put in place a strategy that includes training initiatives and finance schemes to help partners reach out to customers and explain to them our proposition.”

Over the next two months, Emerson will conduct a series of product launches, and training programs for channel partners across 20 cities. |
