  • If not in the IT industry: Science has always fascinated me. If I were not in IT industry then I would have become a physics teacher.

  • Biggest passion: I like keeping track of the latest developments in technology. Human psychology also intrigues me, and I like reading up on the subject.

  • Behind the wheels: I currently drive a Hyundai Santro, but my dream car is the BMW X5.

  • Gadgets I can’t do without: My Nokia cell-phone and my HP-Compaq 2510 notebook.

  • Role model: Ratan Tata. He embodies integrity and ethics, and inspires trust among his stakeholders.

  • Weekend activities: I simply love spending time with my nine-year-old daughter during weekends. My weekends are reserved for her and the family.

  • Favorite holiday destination: Some of my most memorable holidays have been spent in Himachal Pradesh. The fresh mountain air completely rejuvenates me.

  • Hate the most: Hypocrisy and untidiness.

  • Favorite movie: Those which are light-hearted in nature. I liked the Munna Bhai films because they were funny and yet had a soul.

  • Favorite stars: I like Amitabh Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit, in Hollywood I admire George Clooney and Julia Roberts.

  • Ultimate ambition: To lead Axis to new heights in India. I intend to make a positive contribution to society.
