If not in the IT industry:
I was always keen to get into IT. That was why I did my post-graduation in management from S P Jain Institute.
-
Biggest passion: Traveling. I love exploring new places, people and cultures.
-
Behind the wheels: I own a Honda Civic. In fact, I even get down to washing my own car once a month. I want to own a BMW—but then who wouldn’t?
-
Gadgets I can’t do without: I am a little spoilt when it comes to gadgets because I always craved for and got the latest products. I am never without my Blackberry because I am a self-proclaimed Crackberry. The other gadget I always carry is the 80GB iPod. It’s my stress-buster, and a back-up device too.
-
Role model: Narayana Murthy—because he is a self-made man. I admire his simplicity, and the social values he has inculcated at Infosys.
-
Weekend activities: I am very close to my family; so any activity which I undertake during the weekend has to be around the family.
-
Favorite holiday destination: New Zealand. It is the best place on earth owing to its scenic beauty.
-
Hate the most: Diplomacy. I hate it, but can’t live without it.
-
Favorite movie: I love Bollywood movies. Where else will you come across so many emotional elements—drama, music, action, romance and comedy—all wrapped in a single three-hour event? My all-time favorite is Sholay.
-
Favorite stars: I never miss an Akshay Kumar or Brad Pitt film. Angelina Jolie and Bipasha Basu set my heart racing.
-
Ultimate ambition: To take Rashi to its next level with diversified areas of operation.
