Plustek Appoints Neoteric As ND

 CRN Network, September 6, 2010, 1030 hrs

Manufacturer of imaging and communication products, Plustek has appointed Neoteric Infomatique as its national distributor. The company’s existing distributor Intra Tech Computers will continue to sell Plustek products.

Commenting on the tie-up, Kaushal Khandor, Vice President, Neoteric Infomatique, said, “We will be distributing Plustek’s scanners and DMS solutions. Apart from the volume channels we will also focus on vertical markets by engaging with systems integrators and enterprise VARs. For large projects we will offer end to end support to the partners and customers on behalf of Plustek.

Dr Karen Ku, Vice President, Plustek, said, “We are certain that we have found the right partner in Neoteric to grow the business in India and look forward to working together. To create awareness for the brand in the channel and SI community, Neoteric and Plustek will carry out joint marketing activities that include sales schemes, promotions and road shows in upcoming markets, in shop branding and many other such activities.”

Plustek offers products in three categories—office centre, imaging centre and communication centre. Under the first two categories it has a range of products for document scanning, business card scanning, film scanning and book scanning. Its communication portfolio includes NVRs, integrated MFA servers with DMS solution.
