Image solutions provider, Plustek announced the addition of Plustek OpticBook A300 to its family of book scanners.
Touted as an ideal solution for libraries, schools, graphic designers, publishing companies, hospitals, law firms, court houses and financial institutions, A300 can scan thick books without unbinding or dismantling them. It includes a patent-pending SEE (shadow elimination element) technology design that eliminates the book spine shadow and text distortion of traditional book copying and scanning.
It comes with a touch-screen panel design, making it more user-friendly. The scanned documents can be sent any destination without a PC. Users can also store the scanned documents in a USB flash drive either in PDF or JPG form.
The standalone solution is capable of scanning an A3 size page in 2.4 seconds, which can then be turned into different formats. It can perform variable scanning from 50dpi up to 1,200dpi and manage up to 3,000 scans per day. The suggesting MSRP for A300 is Rs 1,50,000. |
