Cooler Master launched a range of power supplies, GX-Series, specifically targeted at upper mid-range to high-end gaming systems. Currently, there are three models in the GX series: the GX 550W, the GX 650W and the GX 750W.
The range has been designed for dual GPU systems. The 750W model also carries SLI certification for high-end Nvidia GTX graphics cards, as it offers four PCI Express power connectors. The power supplies feature a single +12V rail, bulk capacitors with a less than 17ms hold up time.
Other features include: low noise dual layer EMI filters, dual mode Active PFC/PWM controller, an efficient transformer that reduces the 5Vsb power loss. They are 85 percent power efficiency and 80 plus certified.
The Cooler Master GX series offer an MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) rating in excess of 100,000 hours. All models in the GX series come backed with a five year warranty. |
