Asus To Offer Burnt Warranty On Two New Motherboards


 CRN Network, January 19, 2010, 1630 hrs

Asus will now offer burnt warranty cover for two of its new motherboards—P5G41-M and P5G41-M/LE. The warranty cover was first announced for the P5KPL-AM/PS motherboard that comes with an anti-surge technology.

 

If the onboard power section of motherboards offering this warranty is burnt due to power fluctuation or external sources, the motherboard will be replaced or repaired by the company at no extra cost. 

 

“The cover was especially designed for Indian consumers, keeping in mind the voltage fluctuation problem faced in India. We have received a tremendous response for the burnt warranty on the P5KPL-AM/PS motherboard. Hence, extending this warranty to other motherboards in our portfolio was the next logical step,” said Vinay Shetty, Country Head, Component Products, Asus India. “We hope customers can reap the benefit of this unique warranty policy and that it helps to further encourage the channel to sell right and sell more’.”

Only Asus can offer this kind of warranty in India with Service Setup of Rashi peripherals, No other distributor of any brand offer this kind of service, Rashi give prompt service, i have experienced very good serivce from Rashi chennai.

Announcement of this type of offer by the company is only to hike there sale target.But real face of service center and warranty policies is very low & poor grade.After purchasing asus product from rashi peripherals you have to forget about warranty or any replacement.
