Datawind, a provider of wireless web access products and services, has unveiled the PocketSurfer2 in India. It has also appointed HCL Infosystems as the distributor for the same.

Weighing only 174 grams, PocketSurfer2 allows users to browse and view web pages in its original layout. With its 640 pixel full-color wide screen, the handheld device comes with a metallic backlit QWERTY keyboard and a built-in GPS receiver for location-based services. It offers free usage of 35 hours per month for a whole year.
Priced at Rs11,990, the PocketSurfer2 will be available through HCL Infosystems. |
