APC Launches BR600CI-IN Back-UPS

 CRN Network, August 26, 2010, 1200 hrs

APC launched the BR600CI-IN, a 600VA PC UPS for home and SOHO users. The BR600CI-IN offers 21 minutes of backup time, with a battery recharge time of 8 to 10 hours. It has a float and boost charger that completely recharges battery even with frequent power cuts with staged battery charging. It offers three surge protected outlets.

“Desktop PC sales accounts for nearly two-thirds of total PC sales in India and is showing a significant year on year increase. We are seeing an increase in the PC-UPS attach ratio primarily due to the huge vagaries of power supply in the country,” said Gaurav Burman, Director, Transaction Sales, Asia-Pacific.

Priced at an MRP of `2975, the BR600CI-IN is available via 5,000 channel partners across the country. The UPS uses a 7.5Ah battery and is compatible with generator sets. It comes with a 2-year warranty that covers both electronics and battery.
