CRN Network, September 7, 2010, 1130 hrs
The countdown has begun, and it is T-minus 21 days precisely to Interop Mumbai. A leading business technology event, Interop will be held from September 28 to September 30, 2010.
The second edition of Interop-Mumbai will again be held at the Bombay Exhibition Center in the Goregaon suburb. Registration and other details about the conference and expo are now available at www.interop.in.
This year the organizing committee at UBM India (the producers of Interop-Mumbai) decided to narrow the focus and address the quality aspect, rather than diversity. So while there are fewer sessions compared to last year, they are some good keynotes and power panels planned.
Interop-Mumbai will have more knowledge-based workshop sessions this year. Exhibitors will also have their conference track. Among other topics, several sessions on cloud computing and information security will be conducted. Refer to the conference grid published on www.interop.in for more details.
There are several great keynote sessions line up each day. Don’t miss Marie Hattar’s keynote on September 28. She is the Vice President, Borderless Networks Marketing at Cisco Systems. John McHugh, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Brocade will take the stage after Hatter to conduct a session discussing how the network is shaping up for the data center.
On September 29, 2010, Steven J Bandrowczak, Vice President and General Manager, Avaya Data Solutions, will speak on the new era of business communications. And on September 30th, there will be keynotes from Wipro and HP—conducted by Anand Shankaran, Senior Vice President and Business Head, Wipro, India and Middle East; and Steve Dietch, Vice President, Marketing, HP Networking. Dietch will conduct a session on how users can simplify cloud computing deployment through converged infrastructure.
