 CRN Network, September 9, 2010, 1100 hr

Cooler Master, the PC cooling solutions company has partnered with Abacus Peripherals for distributing its affordable range of chassis and power supplies.

Crane Chen, India Country Manager, Cooler Master, said, “Cooler Master is reorienting its India distribution strategy, segregating and creating product-wise differentiation between its two national distributors, namely Abacus Peripherals and Acro Engineering Company. Employing a two-tier distribution structure, we plan to expand the business and penetrate the market even further banking on Abacus’ well spread network of more than 30 locations across India, serving 2300 plus channel partners.

Cooler Master chassis and power supplies will be readily available with Abacus Peripherals starting from second week of September 2010.

“Addition of Cooler Master products expands our portfolio enabling us to offer well-rounded solution to our channel partners. With markets booming and niche sectors such as gaming, 3D animation, and high performance computing showing tremendous growth potential for cooling solutions,” said Umesh Modi, CEO, Abacus Peripherals.

To create brand awareness, Cooler Master plans to carry out marketing activities, which includes promotions, in-shop branding, road shows, and sales schemes.
