Quick Heal Technologies has won the Maharashtra IT Award (MITA) in the Unique Software Security Solution category, for being the first Indian company to offer globally acclaimed innovative antivirus and network security solutions.
Instituted by the Government of Maharashtra in 2004 in the memory of the late Rajiv Gandhi, MITA are given away to leading IT companies every year on August 20—observed as the IT Day.
The award was received by Kailash Katkar, CEO and MD, and Sanjay Katkar, CTO, Quick Heal Technologies, from the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Ashok Chavan, in a ceremony held in Mumbai.
