Albion Infotel, the winner of the CRN Cloud Services Provider Award 2011, is organising a seminar, Cloud Computing – Opportunities and Challenges for SMEs, in collaboration with PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The seminar will be held on September 28, 2011 at the PHD House in New Delhi.
“Cloud computing has become a hot topic and everyone is interested to reap the benefits offered by this model of service delivery. Whereas, large enterprises are setting up their own private cloud, it is the small and medium enterprises which keep wondering on how to go about it,” said Sanjeev Gupta, MD, Albion Infotel.
With an expected participation of around 250 delegates from SME and IT Industry, the event will offer a platform of interaction and understanding the dynamics of cloud computing vis-à-vis needs of the industry.
“This event will set the platform for all stakeholders – Government, cloud service providers, cloud adopters, and industry experts to share challenges, opportunities, and issues of cloud computing,” said Salil Bhandari, President, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
“We aim to examine the capability of cloud computing to reduce IT costs and complexity, creation of an effective strategy, governance and architecture for cloud computing in businesses and to address issues of security, privacy, compliance and reliability to protect data. The biggest takeaway would be the real life examples showcased by the speakers. This would give a clear understanding of how the industry can benefit from this new revolutionary technology,” he added.
