MAIA Appoints Octopus as ISV in India

Mumbai-based MAIA Intelligence, a developer of the 1Key suite of tools that aid companies execute Business Intelligence (BI), has partnered with Octopus e-International for an ISV partnership.

Octopus uses BI modules in ERP & SCM applications. MAIA has plans to bundle its reporting tool with various ISVs for garnering growth.  It is in talks with five additional ISVs for bundling their modules.

“Octopus-e uses our BI modules for their ERP & SCM applications. After evaluating our modules, they find value in incorporating it with their applications, thus reducing the development life cycle and delivering high quality functionality,” said Sanjay Mehta, CEO, MAIA Intelligence.

With a single server-unlimited user license costing Rs nine lakh, the product is positioned as a cost effective, easy to use and easy to deploy.

Said Mehta, “We invest in product development, communicating and supporting our channel partners. Since starting the company in early 2006, we currently have 14 ISVs in the country some of who include Nalli Soft Solutions, ACI, Udyog Software India Limited among others.”

The company plans to initiate its overseas presence by appointing two partners, namely one in the UK and one in the US.
