Jitendra Gupta is Country Manager, India & Saarc, Extreme Networks. He was earlier Product Manager at Ingram Micro India

If not in the IT industry:  I would have been a doctor.

Biggest passion: I believe in being responsive and extreme. I am passionate about working hard, a true workaholic.

Behind the wheels: I drive a Maruti Baleno. My next dream car is a Honda CRV.

Gadgets I can’t live without: My mobile phone which connects me 24x7 with my world.

Role model: Bill Gates and Narayana Murthy because I believe both of them are true legends.

Weekends are for: Spending time with my family and relaxing at home.

Favorite holiday destination: Hawaii. It has beautiful beaches, a blue ocean and natural beauty.

Hate the most: Inefficiency and excuses.

Ultimate ambition: To excel in my profession and to be my own boss in future.

Wildest thing I’ve ever done: I’m not an adventurous person.

Thing I most want to do in life: I want to go on long holidays where I can spend my time enjoying nature, and learning about various places and cultures.

Favorite sport and sportsperson: I am not a sports freak but I like to watch cricket.

If I became the Prime Minister: I will try and make India a developed country in terms of infrastructure, and provide all basic amenities to all citizens.

Celebrity I’d like to spend a day with: Amitabh Bachchan. A living legend, he has a dashing personality and is a perfectionist in the true sense of the word. He is a real inspiration to all generations.

Deepest and darkest fear: Failure after you have put in a lot of effort.
