MA Mannan joined Corsair Memory in 2007 as Country Manager for India. He is responsible for the sales and marketing operations of the company. He began his career as International marketing executive for TwinMos Technologies Middle East five years ago.

If not in the IT industry: I always wanted to be associated with IT. The only alternate career would have been working in a corporate gifting firm offering clients innovative gift ideas.

Biggest passion: Driving. I love going on long drives and have driven my car from Delhi to Chennai just for fun.

Behind the wheels: I own a 4X4 Mahindra Scorpio, and I like the way it zooms on the highway and on tough terrains. For the city ride, I prefer my Yamaha RX100 bike.

Gadgets I can’t do without: I can’t live without my BlackBerry.

Role model: I don’t really have a role model, but I do respect, admire and follow stalwarts like NR Narayana Murthy (Infosys) who fought against all odds to create one of the most admired and largest software export house in India.

Weekend activities: I am very homely person and I love spending time with my family especially with my son. But I do make it a point to go on long drives especially to unexplored and serene areas, where you are surrounded by nature in its true form.

Favorite holiday destination: Manali. It is heaven on earth.

Hate the most: Hypocrisy and backstabbing.

Celebrity I’d like to spend a day with: Aamir Khan, I admire his perfectionist attitude.

Ultimate ambition: I would like to see Corsair as the brand that people look up to in India as an example of business success.
