Mobien Technologies, provider of mobility solutions, is scouting for VARs. The company is also planning to launch the on-demand version of its flagship mobile application server iNotify.
The iNotify application server can be integrated with any ERP and CRM application to provide optimized access to mobile devices. Its business intelligence module and UC features allow handhelds to access application data in a dashboard format with SMS, audio and video support. Currently, iNotify supports only Symbian, but Mobien will soon release versions for other mobile OSes.
“Thus far, we have built a strong client base for iNotify that comprises several large organizations. We now want to expand our reach in mid-market and plan to recruit 40 VARs,” said Ajit Gokhale, CEO, Mobien Technologies. Highlighting the opportunity for VARs, he said, “We are scouting for vertical-focused partners who can sell iNotify server to customers, who want to automate their sales and customer processes by using handhelds. For instance, in the current fiscal we have set a target of deploying our solution at 10 FMCG distribution companies through partners. The average size of such a project is Rs. 35 lakh.”
The soon to-be-launched iNotify on-demand service would also help Mobien expand coverage. “In January, we will roll out hosted services for FMCG vertical, and will later add pharma and BFSI. The on-demand services will be priced at Rs. 750 per user per month. So far we have signed up with Tata Docomo but as other telecom providers launch their 3G services we will also partner with them,” said Gokhale.
Since starting operations in 2006, Mobien has grown exponentially. It is expecting to gross Rs. 30 crore in the current fiscal as compared to the previous fiscal’s Rs. 12 crore.
“We are working on some innovative mobile technologies like MSOS that allows users to send SOS to their near ones at the press of a button. We are also testing an application for toll collection. Users can use handsets to pay the toll, which is added to their mobile bills,” said Gokhale. |
