NeoAccel Rolls Out VMware Ready VPN

 CRN Network, Jan. 15 2009, 1730 hrs

NeoAccel India has introduced the VMware version of its SSL VPN product, called the SSL VPN-Plus. The fully functional version of the solution can be downloaded and evaluated from the company’s website.

Michel Susai, Chairman and CEO, NeoAccel said, “VPN buyers can conveniently download the virtual image of the SSL VPN Plus. Network administrators can experience user and management interfaces and observe how the product fits within their current network setup, all without the logistics of a hardware appliance. Most prospects are up and running within 15 minutes.”

SSL VPN-Plus under VMware is available in three separate options—SSL VPN-Plus and NAC-Plus, SSL VPN-Plus Evaluation Virtual Appliance for the VMware Player and SSL VPN-Plus Farm for ASPs/MSPs/ISPs.

While SSL VPN-Plus and NAC-Plus can be purchased as virtual appliances and run on a VMware ESX Server, the SSL VPN-Plus Evaluation Virtual Appliance enables prospects to download and try an active version of SSL VPN-Plus using VMware player. All the versions are fully functional SSL VPN-Plus gateways purposefully built as a zero administration IPSec replacement.

For managed or Internet service providers, the vendor provides 10Gbps SSL VPN performance on the SGX-5200 appliance to enable them to take advantage of the VMware operating environment by provisioning, cloning, and managing SSL VPN-Plus gateways with a global manager.

The company also plans to make the product available for other virtualization architectures.
