 Juniper Networks has appointed Ravi Chauhan as managing director of its India and SAARC operations. Chauhan who has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing of enterprise and service provider solutions was previously the Managing Director of Nortel India.
“Juniper has gained a lot of success and traction in India, while the push towards high performance networking is driving demand for more robust security and networking equipment in enterprises and leading service providers. With the appointment of Ravi, we are now in a better position to grow this footprint further,” said Brad Gray, Vice President of Asia South, Juniper Networks.
“Ravi’s job will be to understand our Indian customers’ needs and to help them build the high-performance networks their businesses need today,” he added.
Prior to Nortel, Chauhan worked for four years as country manager for Cabletron Systems. He holds a bachelor of engineering, electronics and communications from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala and a post graduate diploma in business management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. |
