Cyberoam Appoints Tushar Sighat

 

 CRN Network, Feb. 18 2008, 1730 hrs

 

Cyberoam, a division of Elitecore Technologies has appointed Tushar Sighat as Vice President-Operations for India.

In his role as the VP-Operations at Cyberoam, Sighat will be part of the core group in strategizing and planning Cyberoam’s business and will be responsible for product and channel management, pre-sales and post-sales support operations and sales and marketing.

On his appointment Sighat said, “The unified threat management solutions market is growing at an exponential rate and Cyberoam with its indigenous technology has emerged as a strong player in this segment. Our aim is to create a strong channel network backed by comprehensive strategies and policies to drive growth.”

Sighat, part of the founding team at D-Link India, has worked in various positions at the networking-major and was instrumental in setting up its vast channel network. He resigned as D-Link’s Vice President–Channels (India & SAARC) to join Cyberaom.
