Seagate self-encrypting drives

 

Seagate has launched its portfolio of self-encrypting drives across its entire range of enterprise HDDs. These HDDs have Secure Self-Encrypting Drive (SED) technology, that deliver secure data transfer for servers and storage systems. The drives can be integrated with Intel and LSI’s local key management.


Savvio is available in 2.5-inch form factor, while the Constellation series includes 2.5-inch drive as well as the
3.5-inch form factor available in capacities of up to 2TB.


Cheetah is available in 3.5-inch size with 15,000 rpm, while Barracuda is available in 3.5-inch size with both, SAS and SATA interface and a speed of 7200 rpm.

The drives are available with authorized dealers.
