Quick Heal Launches Dhamaka 2010

 CRN Network, January 19, 2010, 1630 hrs

Anitvirus vendor Quick Heal Technologies has launched Dhamaka 2010 a promotional scheme for channel partners and resellers. The promotion promises assured attractive gifts from watches to luxury travel to reward the efforts of its channel partners.

The offer will be from January 10, 2010 to March 31, 2010 covering the last quarter with an aim to capture major market share.

The offer includes interesting gifts ranging from digital photo frames to handy cams and iPod with video. The highlight of the promotion is an all expense paid luxury trip to Thailand. Any partner doing a business of as low as approximately 10 licenses per month during the scheme period will take away an assured gift, according to Quick Heal.

“Under this scheme we are looking at about 400 plus partners to join us in the exclusive luxury trip to Thailand”, said Abhijit Jorvekar, Country Head, Sales, Quick Heal Technologies.

The scheme is aimed at promoting the company’s newly launched products—Internet Security 2010, Total Security 2010—and corporate product, Admin Console 4.1. These products have been upgraded and are now loaded with highly enhanced security and tuning features.

Recently, a partner told me that a leading vendor has sent letters to several of its partners stating that they would like to audit the partners’ business. When the partner refused, he was sent a notice by the vendor’s legal department stating that the partner’s contract made it mandatory for him to comply with the vendor’s demand
