HP Announces Customized Solutions For SMBs

 CRN Network, February 24, 2010, 1130 hrs

HP has launched a series of specially designed products and solutions—HP Commercial Systems and Solutions—to help SMBs leverage IT for business growth, achieve sustainability through Green IT, and create better customer intimacy.

Targeted at over 8 million SMBs, solutions comprise mobile computing, virtualization and thin client computing, Green IT, Multi-Seat Computing, 1:1 computing, POS Solution, and digital signage

“As organizations refresh their technology, it is imperative that their investments in IT create business efficiencies, lower total cost of ownership and allow them to scale quickly to match business growth,” said Chua Hwee Koon, Vice President, Mobile Business Unit, Personal Systems Group, HP Asia-Pacific and Japan.

In addition to promoting its HD videoconferencing software SkyRoom as a solution that will help SMBs achieve real-time collaboration, HP is also showcasing its portfolio of digital signage and retail Point-of-Sale products and solutions.

To popularize the solutions, HP is using its ecosystem of over 3,500 channel partners, technology partners, and business consulting and systems integration partners. The vendor will also offer a range of free and fee-based support, services, options and program through HP Total Care. Additionally, HP is joining hands with ICICI Bank to float a scheme Smart Finance to help SMBs with funds.
