A pat on HP's back!

While Shadow is often critical about vendors when they fail in their warranty commitments, we are also prompt to highlight any channel-friendly initiative taken by them and give them credit whenever it is apt.
Recently, at the TAIT-CRN event in Mumbai, a senior executive from HP, Ketan Patel, who was invited as a speaker, was cornered by the participants over the significant increase in warranty issues over the past four months.
Despite being bombarded by resellers, Patel didn't lose his cool and promised the TAIT members a speedy resolution to all their warranty issues.
The very next Monday, HP's service team invited TAIT directors for a closed door meeting, listened to all the issues and promised immediate redressal.
And, promise they did keep! A number of TAIT members, Shadow spoke to, confirmed that HP is addressing their pending cases on a priority basis.
