Security vendor, SonicWall has appointed two new value-added distributors—Luminous Technologies and Westcon. Both these distributors will be responsible for pushing the vendor’s entire range of products in the Indian market and the SAARC region.
Shubhomoy Biswas, Country Director, India, SonicWall said, “The market is huge and still needs to be tapped. Both these distributors will help us do that. They will also help impart product training to partners
and educate them about new products.”
The company, however, has ruled out segmentation of distributors based on products. “We considered that option but decided against it, because we see convergence in the security space in future,” informed Biswas.
With these new partnerships, SonicWall has five distributors including Redington, Ivalue Infosolutions and Select Technologies.
The vendor is looking at increasing its penetration in B, C and D class cities like Nasik, Mysore and Agartala. It currently has 120 medallion partners in the country. |
